Telenor Bulgaria is the largest mobile telecommunications provider in Bulgaria by revenue and second largest by subscriber market share with more than 3 million active users.
Telenor Bulgaria offers mobile voice, data and content services on both post- and prepaid basis. Telenor Bulgaria won the award for fastest mobile network in Bulgaria (2016) and offers high quality voice and data connectivity in its own 4G network with VoLTE technology through an asset base consisting of 3,154 mobile base sites.

PPF Group’s share in Telenor Bulgaria EAD is 100%.

In 2018, PPF Group agreed to purchase Telenor’s assets in Central and Eastern Europe. After obtaining the necessary regulatory approval, the transaction was settled at the end of July 2018. Following the closing of said transaction, PPF Group became the sole owner of Telenor’s assets in Hungary, Bulgaria, Montenegro, and Serbia. Telenor has been active in Central and Eastern Europe for 25 years. In 2013, Telenor entered the Bulgarian market by acquiring Globul.
